Malware is a persistent, daily threat. It’s present at all times and comes in many forms. This topic is an important piece of the cybersecurity puzzle that cybersecurity pros need to know well. The most common forms of malware are:
- Viruses
- Worms
- Trojan horses
- Ransomware
- Spyware
- Rootkits
- Adware
- Bots
- Keyloggers
Summary
There’s so much information to absorb from this topic and this is already a long list to be committed to memory. Therefore, I’m gonna leave it at that for this article. Memorizing this list might take a day or so.
